La Placita Miami was a popular Puerto Rican restaurant located on Biscayne Boulevard that was founded by TV Star Julian Gil and Chef/Restaurateur Jose Mendin. The restaurant prided itself in providing delicious food to its customers. With an award-winning menu and innovative dishes, La Placita Miami provided something for everyone, including plant-powered vegetarian options, whole fried snapper with yellow rice and vegetables escabeche, watermelon and Florida tomato salad with mint, queso fresco del país, red onion, jalapeño and other home-cooked comfort foods. A perfect spot for date night, La Placita Miami also had a craft beer selection and killer craft cocktail menu. Unfortunately this restaurant has been permanently closed.

To get to the location on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami, you can take the Metromover or Metrobus and get off at the Museum Park station. From there, walk south along Biscayne Boulevard for about 10 minutes until you reach your destination.
