Hey y’all! I’ve gotten quite a few messages asking if I’ll be making the viral dot cakes, and the answer is still no. 😂
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I just can’t bring myself to charge premium cake prices for a cup of cake and buttercream covered in crunchy nonpareils because TikTok decided it was the trend of the week.
I take a lot of pride in what comes out of my kitchen, and I’d feel a little silly asking my customers to hand over their hard-earned money for something that’s mostly hype and sprinkles. If I’m charging you for cake, I want you to get an actual cake experience—not a trendy cup of crushed expectations.
But hey, if you love them, more power to you! They’re just not my thing.
