Hey friends, I wanted to take a moment to be real — I’m feeling burnt out. Sweet Serendipity has grown so much, and I’m incredibly grateful to be this busy. Every order, message, and word of support means more to me than I can express.

But over the past month, the way I’ve been spoken to and treated by some customers has truly worn me down. The comments about pricing, the pressure to squeeze in last-minute orders — it’s a lot. I pour everything I have into this business, but I’m still just one person. I’m the shopper, the baker, the designer, the decorator, the dishwasher, the bookkeeper — and also a wife to a D1 baseball coach who works endlessly and a mom to a wonderful, busy 5-year-old.

I love what I do, and I care deeply about the people I bake for. But I also believe kindness and respect should go both ways.

💛 This short break will not affect current orders or any Thanksgiving pie cake orders — those are still on track as promised!

Thank you to those who continue to show love, patience, and understanding. I’m stepping back to rest, reset, and return with the same joy and creativity that Sweet Serendipity was built on.
