We usually never get on anyone’s lists or win any awards, we don’t go viral or have lines out the door (we did in 2020 lol), influencers never mention us and we don’t try to be cool or follow trends. We just genuinely love what we do!
Our purpose is to serve our families, guests and community as best we can and do it with heart. We have a group of such hardworking individuals with so much passion…and that’s the real prize!

Some of our best flavors happen by accident✨
Mike discovered that when lavender meets orange, something magical happens: It tastes just like Froot Loops!!
So naturally, we turned that happy accident into ice cream.

Well… this is not the post we wanted to make.
Our batch freezer — the machine that lets us make all of our ice cream from scratch — broke last Friday.
We’ve been trying everything we can to get it back up and running. We’ve ordered parts, replaced parts, crossed fingers, said prayers, got it working for one glorious day… and then it decided to break again.
So right now, our dipping cabinet is looking a lot emptier than we’d ever want it to look! To be completely honest, it’s very embarrassing and if I was a guest I would be justifiably upset too.
The frustrating part is that we have a brand new Carpigiani batch freezer waiting for us at our Flagler shop, still wrapped up and ready to go — but because of ongoing permit delays, we can’t use it yet.
We’re hoping to have an Electro Freeze tech here Monday, coming all the way from Gainesville, and we’re doing everything possible to get back to a full flavor lineup as quickly as we can.
In the meantime, we just want to say: thank you.
Thank you for being patient with us. Thank you for still showing up. Thank you for understanding that when you make everything from scratch, one broken machine can throw the whole rhythm off.
We’re sorry if your favorite flavor isn’t in the case right now. We promise it’s not because we forgot about it or you! We miss it too.
We’ll keep making what we can, as fast as we can, with the same love and care as always.

To get to Sunset Drive in Miami, you can take the Metrobus line 72 or 40 and get off at the Sunset Drive stop. From there, walk southeast for about 5-10 minutes until you reach your destination.
If you prefer to drive, you can take US-1 S towards Coral Gables and turn right onto Ponce de Leon Blvd. Then turn left onto Sunset Drive and continue for about a mile until you reach your destination.
There is also street parking available along Sunset Drive and nearby side streets. However, it may be limited during peak hours so plan accordingly.

Sweet Melody Crafted Ice Cream Co. is a must-visit ice cream shop located on Sunset Drive in Miami. The amazing crew at their West Kendall factory is responsible for making all the delicious ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, waffle cones, cakes, and baked goods that go into all their flavors. Not only that, but they also take care of the customers at the Ventanita and fulfill Uber & DoorDash orders. They are always vibing with everyone they meet and making connections with the community.
Their Miami-flavored ice creams are a treat for your taste buds. They have recently introduced their Vegan Vanilla Fudge Brownie flavor which is so creamy and decadent that you won't even know it's dairy-free. Their classic Taurus flavor is also back which is their version of an Almond Joy™️ candy bar with a creamy coconut twist.
The shop has a great ambiance with loud music playing in the background and friendly staff who are always ready to assist you. They even have bling added to their Ventanita which makes it look even more attractive.
