SpecialTEA Lounge is a unique tea room and vegetarian/vegan restaurant located in Miami-Dade County. Established in June 2009, it offers a wide variety of premium fresh loose leaf teas and tisanes, organic and fair trade coffee, frappés, smoothies, bottled craft sodas, homemade pastries (vegan and gluten-free options) as well as delicious panini, salads and wraps made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. The cafe prides itself on its environmentally conscious practices and encourages customers to adopt sustainable living habits.

SpecialTEA Lounge is a must-visit destination for tea lovers and vegetarians in Miami. Established in 2009, it was the first of its kind in Miami-Dade County and has been serving over 60 premium fresh loose leaf teas and tisanes ever since. The tea selection includes black teas, oolong teas, green teas, white teas, rooibos, honeybush, mate, herbal and fruit tisanes. What's more impressive is that they only serve certified organic, fair trade shade-grown locally roasted coffee as well as rooibos redespresso.
The cafe also offers an array of delicious made-to-order paninis, salads and wraps along with homemade pastries including vegan and gluten-free options. SpecialTEA Lounge is extremely conscious of its impact on the environment and uses local and organic ingredients whenever possible. They even shop for their groceries in their biodeisel-powered vehicle.
The cafe's frappes made with organic fair-trade coffee are a must-try along with the hand-crafted Italian & French sodas. The desserts are also worth indulging in after a hearty meal.
SpecialTEA Lounge & Café has been educating its customers about sustainability, organic products and being earth-friendly since its inception.
