This International Womenâs Day, as we celebrate ALL women and their achievements, we want to spotlight the four incredible women on The Pickled Beet team!
ELIZABETH WILLARD, FOUNDER & CEO
The Pickled Beet wouldnât exist without Chef Liz, who left a corporate job 20 years ago to follow her culinary dreams. Through the years, she has gained loyal clients, accolades, and awards. She has also built a team of experienced, talented professional chefs who scratch-cook every meal in our dedicated gluten-free commercial kitchen in Miami. Liz is passionate about food as medicine and is dedicated to ensuring that each client has a delicious experience, no matter their food allergies or special dietary needs.
JEN MCCOOL, KITCHEN MANAGER
Jen is an integral part of our quality control processes and brings her vast experience in the culinary industry to our kitchen operations. She oversees all the packaging of our freshly cooked food and delivery operations, ensuring that each client receives the right meals without fail. Thatâs no easy task in a busy kitchen where we craft fresh, customized meals and menus for each client (often different meals for each person in the household, due to differing food preferences, food allergies, and/or medical diagnoses). On top of all that, her positive vibe and upbeat personality keep the kitchen staff humming and happy, even on the longest cook days!!
ANDREA SPRAGUE, CERTIFIED NUTRITIONIST
Andrea is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner AND a Professional Chef â the perfect combo for her role as our Nutrition Consultant. She helps clients who are newly diagnosed with food allergies, autoimmune disorders, and other health conditions that require them to change their diets radically. She also uses nutrition to help clients recover faster after surgery and lessen symptoms from autoimmune diseases and cancer treatment. Andreaâs mission is to help people live their best lives, focusing on the role nutrition plays in their overall well-being.
NICOLE GATES, CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST
Nicole serves as the primary point of contact for all our clients. She tracks the unique food needs and travel schedules of our ongoing personal chef clients, books private chef experiences, and manages private flight catering orders. She also serves as our Community Liaison and coordinates participation in community events. Nicoleâs broad background â which ranges from media to management of a European wine distributor region â is an asset to both our team and our clients!
