25 years later, we honor their courage, their sacrifice, and the extraordinary sense of unity that brought Americans together.

At Meat N’ Bone, we believe there is something powerful about gathering around a table. Food brings people together. It gives us a reason to sit beside one another, share a moment, listen, and remember how much we have in common.

Today is a day to reflect on that.

Venezuela is part of our story. Our families. Our identity. Our people.

Many members of our team are Venezuelan, including our founders. When we left, a piece of our heart stayed behind.
What has happened there is not distant to us. It is close. It is painful. And it has touched our team directly.

We are grieving the loss of Victor, a member of our Meat N’ Bone family.
Victor, you will never be forgotten. Anyone who knew Victor knew he was one of the happiest, kindest, and hardest-working people you could ever meet. When our fulfillment center burned down in 2025, he helped lead the charge and rally the team.

Behind every business are people. Real people. Coworkers, parents, friends, brothers, sisters, families. This tragedy is a reminder of that.

Venezuela is facing one of the most devastating earthquakes in its modern history, in a country that was already carrying so much. And the reality is this: this is not a sprint, it is a marathon. The first days matter, but the weeks and months ahead will matter too. We want to do our part, not only today, but for the foreseeable future.

Meat N’ Bone is supporting World Central Kitchen’s relief efforts for Venezuela, and we have added a donation link to our website and checkout for anyone who would like to help.

We will also continue fundraising throughout the year across our locations, and we are working to implement similar efforts at and .House. If you feel called to support, please consider donating. If you would rather support another organization, we also encourage you to look at groups such as the Venezuelan Red Cross / IFRC, UNICEF, International Rescue Committee, and Direct Relief.

We are heartbroken.
And we are committed to helping.
