Over 70 youth joined us on Saturday for the Duckens Nazon Meet & Greet Youth Breakfast, hosted by Caleb Café & Grill in partnership with Chefs of the Caribbean and Art Beat Miami.
During Conversations with Nazon, moderated by Samuel Dameus of Faces of Haiti, our young people asked powerful questions and left inspired, motivated, and ready to dream bigger.
Duckens, who will represent Haiti on the world stage at the upcoming FIFA World Cup, poured into the next generation—sharing his journey, his discipline, and what it truly takes to succeed. With Miami as a host city, this moment felt even more special for our community.
Each guest received a signed soccer ball ⚽️ and an Art Beat Miami commemorative poster, “Haiti on My Mind” by Mwanel Pierre-Louis. 🎨
To close out the day, the Little Haiti Optimist Club presented Nazon with the Key to Little Haiti in recognition of his impact and representation.
This is what community, culture, and inspiration look like. 💙❤️

As we celebrate Caribbean Heritage Month, we’re reminded of the rich and revolutionary history of the Haitian heritage.🇭🇹
In May, we had the pleasure of paying homage to our Haitian culture at the Art Beat Miami Commemorative Poster (OliGa) & Bookmark Unveiling (Annick Duvivier Ligonde) hosted by Tico Armand.
In the heart of Little Haiti, at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, we danced to the sounds of Haiti through DJ Mack, Ambiance Creole and rhythmic performances by NSL Danse Ensemble.
Poetry Slam winner, Jenima Gabriel and singer Sheila B delivered powerful messages in their inspirational musical performances.
We enjoyed delightful Haitian bites from Chefs of the Caribbean Chef France, Chef Sheron and Chef Dominique.
And in front of the backdrop of art masterpieces by Annick Duvivier, OliGa, Nate Dee and Mr. V The Artist, we created so many memories. Thank you for your support! ♥️ A huge thank you to Marie Louissaint, the producer, for sharing her creative vision and love for the Haitian culture. Little Haiti Optimist Club
