It’s the end of an era… Our final day here in North Beach at 7450 Ocean Terrace will be Friday, July 31 to make way for construction on the Ocean Terrace development project.
We first opened our doors here in North Beach in April 2018 as what was originally intended to be a temporary pop-up. Over the past 8 years, this place has become a neighborhood staple, even being recognized as a recommended restaurant by the Michelin Guide, and for that, we are deeply grateful to our guests, team members, and community.
While our North Beach chapter comes to an end, we’re busy preparing to open our (very) long-awaited Little River location later this summer at 8246 NE 2nd Ave.
Stay tuned for opening details, and come visit us in North Beach during our final days!

Taquiza — North Beach NOW OPEN for dine-in, takeout & delivery!
It's no surprise COVID-19 has changed our everyday lives, and we want to thank you for your continued support during this time. With Miami Beach starting its first phase of reopening, we have implemented a few changes on our end for a safer, simpler experience as we re-open for dine-in starting TODAY at our North Beach location (7450 Ocean Terrace, Miami Beach).
- Your safety and our staff's safety is our top priority. Since we've been open for pickup and delivery, we have and will continue following increased levels of cleaning and sanitization of the entire restaurant.
- Sanitizer dispensers are available for all guests.
- Easy-to-locate areas for on-site dining and pickup.
- All staff will be wearing all necessary PPE.
- All normal health code procedures in reference to kitchen cleanliness and sanitization will be upheld to the most strict standards.
- We have returned to fast-casual, counter service. For those of you who remember the OG South Beach Taquiza, you will remember a quaint walk-up taqueria with an easy-to-order counter. We have implemented the same service style in North Beach with a fun, casual ambiance; welcoming hospitality; and the authentic Mexican street fare and beverages you know and love.
- We now have a few new offerings including online ordering for pickup, "Taquiza @ Home" meal kits available for pickup and delivery, and delivery through third-party apps like Uber Eats. Taquiza is looking for experienced bar backs.
Do you multitask, work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors and remain calm under pressure? If so, we need someone like you to help with assisting servers and food runners with the shifts requirements according to procedures in a way that is consistent with the company's expected quality and standards.
Minimum one year of related work experience with intermediate restaurant knowledge expected in order to effectively fill the position.
Essential Function:
Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
Clear tables after guests.
Take soiled tableware to dishroom and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes,
glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area.
Between seating promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
Perform side work at the start, during, and end of each shift as required by service
station assignment.
Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times.
Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed.
Communicate with bartender to assure efficient service
Assist bartender as needed with food + drink delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
Thank guests as they are leaving
Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
Understands shift ends once approved by MOD.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the
restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

We are a local taco shop that uses only fresh and tasty ingredients to make our award-winning tacos. All our tortillas are hand-made every day, and we need people who can help us reach the highest level of food perfection!
Do you perform multiple tasks, work harmoniously with your co-workers and supervisors and keep calm under pressure? If so, we need someone like you to help us prepare food according to recipe cards in a way that is consistent with the quality and expected standards of the company.
The work also includes the labeling of food containers, the organization of food storage, the monitoring of stocks and supplies, and the installation of stations for the service.
