Hey everyone! The plaza in the Design District is getting an upgrade, which means our time at this location has come to an end. No fear!! The Peel Mobile is getting a new home! We’re going to give her a few weeks of rest (she’s been working hard these last two years 🍌) and we’ll be back soon announcing our new spot. Thank you MDD!

Banana Poem Phone is officially live! 🍌📞
In honor of National Poetry Month, we’ve partnered with to bring something special to Peel.
The Banana Poem phone is a device created by O, Miami with Mario the Maker for the 2026 Poetry Festival. It’s made with a Raspberry Pi Pico, Mini MP3 module, a salvaged landline and banana poems written by south Florida residents, sourced from the O, Miami poetry archive.
Steps are simple:
1. Pick up the banana poem phone
2. Dial a real phone number
3. Listen and enjoy Peel with a side of poetry

Is Peel opening on Mondays now?! Yes, yes we are.
Starting this Monday, March 7 we will be open seven days a week in Miami Shores🫰🏽🫰🏽More bananas, more soft serve, everyday.
Peep the hour change on Mondays as we open just a little bit later than the other days in the week:
Mondays: 1PM - 9PM
Tuesdays: 11AM - 9PM
