Founded by Jerry Barone, who moved to the United States from Italy, the restaurant quickly became popular in Brooklyn before expanding to Miami where it still operates today. Under new ownership, the restaurant is still committed to continuing Jerry's legacy of delicious, traditional Italian cuisine.

Jerry & Joe's Pizza is a family-style restaurant that has been serving delicious homemade recipes for generations. The restaurant was founded by Jerry Barone, who brought his family recipes from Selerano, Italy to the United States. His talent for duplicating and perfecting these recipes soon led to the opening of the first restaurant in Brooklyn in the early 1950s. After vacationing in Miami with his family, Jerry decided to open his next restaurant on Biscayne Blvd in 1957, which became known as "The Reef".

Jerry and his partner Joe later opened "Jerry & Joe's Pizza" in Hialeah, which quickly became a popular carry-out and delivery store for local residents. Although ownership changed hands over the years, the Cruz family now owns and operates the restaurant in the same traditional way that Jerry did.

The menu at Jerry & Joe's Pizza features a variety of mouth-watering pizzas made with fresh ingredients and homemade sauce. Customers can also enjoy other Italian favorites such as calzones, pasta dishes, salads, and sandwiches.
