According to a review by the Miami Herald (published on January 14th, 2020), SOLA Miami offers "creative, delicious takes on Japanese cuisine." The reviewer praised the restaurant's sushi and sashimi, as well as its non-seafood options like the wagyu beef tataki. Another positive review came from the New Times Miami (published on October 30th, 2019), which highlighted SOLA Miami's "impeccable presentations" and "flawless flavor combinations." The reviewer particularly enjoyed the tuna tataki and spicy salmon rolls.
However, not all reviews have been positive. A reviewer on Yelp (posted on December 4th, 2019) found SOLA Miami to be overpriced for its portion sizes and noted several disappointing dishes like the uni pasta and miso soup.
