A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO, I SHOWED YOU A CASE OF TOMATOES COSTING $70. TODAY? THAT SAME CASE WENT UP TO $99!!! 🤯🤯 THAT'S A $29 INCREASE IN JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!

WHO'S MAKING THESE PRICING DECISIONS? IS ANYBODY WATCHING? QUALITY CONTROL? COMMON SENSE? 😂

LET'S TALK NUMBERS! At Walmart, tomatoes are approximately $0.85 per pound. Thirty pounds comes out to $25.50 before tax. SO HOW ARE WE GETTING CLOSE TO $100 FOR A CASE? 🍅

My concern is that corporate pricing decisions aren't considering customer affordability, food costs, inventory, and WASTE. When prices get too high, customers stop buying, products sit, and eventually they spoil. WHO WINS? NOBODY!

NOW, LET ME BE CLEAR! THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE STORE EMPLOYEES! Alvin, Robert, Cynthia, Kit, Mrs. Kathy, Solomon, Stephen, and the entire team are INCREDIBLE! ❤️ They always take care of us. They simply don't control corporate pricing.

AND THE LETTUCE? ANOTHER STORY! 🥬 $60 A CASE WHEN IT NORMALLY COSTS AROUND $27! With lettuce, I'm taking the hit because I believe in their quality. With tomatoes, I have other options.
