Carrot Express was founded over 30 years ago by Founder Mario Laufer in an Alton Road Gas station in Miami beach, where with many years of trials has polished and teamed up with an amazing team with a mission to “Grow into a global brand that promotes a healthy lifestyle by offering fresh, healthy & delicious food handcrafted by people who truly love what they do”. Now with 14 locations and growing in South Florida and NYC, the Carrot Express team looks for hand-picked individuals to join our growing successful concept.
SUPERVISORS IN OUR TEAM: We create our teams with smiles for our guests and ourselves to create a great working ambiance. Our Supervisors are detailed oriented, multitaskers and hard workers to ensure full experience for our guests. Your job will include tasks such as Take-out, Uber, Juice Bar and helping greet our guests at the cashier. This role is crucial to full experience and can lead our customers to become regulars. Must possess a sense of urgency, professionalism and excellent communication skills.
FOH DUTIES:
Must be an ambassador of our mission and core values
Ensure the operation meets food safety and quality standards
Handle customers at the cashier with a big smile and comprehensive knowledge of our entire menu.
Ability to take phone orders, and precisely handle Uber and Take-out orders
Ability to use basic kitchen equipment including knives, food processors, blenders.
Always ensure your team is assisted if in need and go beyond your duties to ensure an accomplished team atmosphere
Perform additional responsibilities (as requested) at any time
COOKING IN OUR TEAM: We create our teams with smiles for our guests and ourselves to create a great working ambiance. Our COOKS are responsible for crafting fresh and delicious food directly impacting the guest experience. You will be responsible for always following our recipes, methods, presentation in a timely and efficient manner in a team driven culture. We pride ourselves in documented proper food handling, food storing (FIFO), food production in the cleanest kitchens. Must possess a sense of urgency, professionalism while ensuring the final product meets our standards.
COOKING DUTIES:
Must be an ambassador of our mission and core values
Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards
Document all preparation, storage and keep consistency
Ability to follow standards, directions, recipes and techniques.
Properly setting up, breaking down, and cleaning your station to set yourself and other team members up for success
Ability to use basic kitchen equipment including knives, ovens, grills, gas stoves, food processors, blenders, fryers and small ware's
Always ensure your team is assisted if in need and go beyond your duties to ensure an accomplished team atmosphere
Perform additional responsibilities (as requested) at any time

MUST POSSES’ SKILLS
16 years of age or older
Have a smile that radiates
Previous restaurant experience
Works with a sense of urgency
Ability to read and follow written recipes
Reliable transportation to and from work
Can work under pressure
Go beyond your duties to ensure the team’s success
Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily, or as needed
Willingness to learn, excel and develop
