🇮🇳☕️🌕🚀 - Did you know that yesterday India became the fourth country to land on the Moon, and the first to land on its south pole? 🌕 That's right, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (.in ISRO), made a soft landing near the lunar south pole on August 23, 2023.
This is a huge achievement for India and for humanity, as the south pole region holds clues to the origin and evolution of the moon, as well as potential resources for future exploration. 🚀
At Syzygy Coffee Roasters, we not only celebrate these achievements but will forever be amazed by these feats of science and engineering.
Grab a cup of Syzygy Coffee by heading to our website (link in bio) and using code SpaceIsAwesome for 10% OFF your entire order, and join us in congratulating and celebrating ISRO and Chandrayaan-3 on their historic mission!

Do you know the story of Kaldi and the dancing goats?📖
Legend has it that a monk named Kaldi in Ethiopia noticed his goats 🐐 acting very happy and energetic after eating some red berries 🍒 from a strange tree. The monk saw this and tried the berries, too.
He felt more alert and awake during his prayers, so he experimented with different ways to use the berries, and finally, he roasted and brewed them into the first cup of coffee. ☕
What do you think of this story? Do you believe it? Let us know in the comments!
At Syzygy Coffee, we honor the tradition of coffee by roasting organic beans from fair-trade farms. Whether you prefer an espresso, a french press, or an , we have the perfect coffee for you. Try it today and feel the difference!

Did you know that specialty coffee is harvested by hand?
🙌 That’s right, our coffee farmers carefully select only the ripest cherries from the trees and leave the rest to mature. This ensures that every bean we roast has the best flavor and quality possible.
☕️ Hand picking is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process, but we think it’s worth it. It can take up to 10 harvests to pick all the cherries from a single farm, depending on the size and variety of the coffee plants.
🌱 We are proud to support our coffee farmers who work hard to bring you the finest specialty coffee in the world. Join us in celebrating their dedication and passion for coffee by trying one of our galaxy-inspired blends today. 🚀

Who would you share a cosmic cup of coffee with? ☕ We'd love to have one with Leland Melvin , an NFL player who became an astronaut and explored the final frontier. He's a star in more ways than one! 🌟
We were lucky enough to hear him speak at Live in San Diego in 2019 and we were amazed by his story of overcoming challenges (including losing his hearing) and achieving his dreams of working for NASA. He's a true inspiration and a bada**! 💯
And did we mention he loves dogs and has the coolest official NASA picture ever? 🐶🐕 He served on board the Space Shuttle Atlantis as a mission specialist on STS-122 and STS-129.

Looking to grab a cup of coffee with someone who's out of this world? Look no further than Mae Jemison, the incredible engineer, physician, and former NASA astronaut who became the first black woman to journey into space 🚀. In 1998, Jemison soared to new heights on the Space Shuttle Endeavour's STS-47 mission, cementing her place in history.
With a resume like that, it's hard not to be impressed by Dr. Jemison's incredible achievements. And who wouldn't want to sit down and chat with such an accomplished trailblazer? At Syzygy Coffee Roasters, we're raising a cup to Dr. Jemison and all that she's accomplished - and we're hoping she'll join us for a coffee and a chat ☕. So come on, Dr. Jemison - the coffee's on us!
Join us in celebrating this icon of space exploration and women's empowerment.

Did you know that the first living creature sent to space by the US was a chimpanzee named Ham? 🚀🐒
Ham, also known as Ham the Astrochimp, made history in January 1961 when he flew a suborbital flight on the Mercury-Redstone 2 mission, paving the way for human space exploration.
His name is actually an acronym for the Holloman Aerospace Medical Center, where he was prepared for his mission, and was also named in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Hamilton "Ham" Blackshear, the commander of the lab.
We continue to honor Ham's legacy and contribution to space exploration to this day. 🌌👏

People we would have loved to have a cup of coffee with ☕: Carl Sagan!
Carl Sagan (November 9, 1934 – December 20, 1996) was an American astronomer, planetary scientist, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, poet, and science communicator, bringing us the likes of the original and one of my favorite sci-fi novels, Contact.
Sagan assembled the first physical messages sent into space: the Pioneer plaque and the Voyager Golden Record, universal messages that could potentially be understood by any extraterrestrial intelligence that might find them.
Sagan argued the now-accepted hypothesis that the high surface temperatures of Venus can be attributed to and calculated using the greenhouse effect.
Thank you for insipiring future generations, Carl Sagan!

An obscure favorite: The Flat White. It has its origins in Australia and New Zealand (there's a constant fight between them to see who actually came up with the original recipe 🇦🇺 💥🥊💥🇳🇿).
Compared to a Cappuccino, the Flat White has a higher ratio of coffee to milk (usually 2 shots of espresso - instead of 1, with the same amount of milk 🥛) and less foam.
INGREDIENTS:
- Two Shots (50mL) of Espresso
- Steamed Milk (130mL) (little foam)
