We’ve been going through old menus, all the way back to our original Miami menu from 1997. Some classics we’d forgotten about, some we could never forget and a few that might just deserve another moment.

Our house-made empanadas are made fresh every day and have been a Balans staple for years. Crispy, golden and packed with flavor, they’re the kind of dish that keeps people coming back.

To get to the location on South Miami Avenue in Miami, you can take public transportation by using the Metrorail and getting off at the Brickell Station. From there, you can walk south on South Miami Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach your destination.
If driving, take I-95 and exit onto SW 7th Street towards Brickell. Turn left onto South Miami Avenue and continue for a few blocks until you reach your destination. Parking options include street parking or nearby parking garages such as the Mary Brickell Village Garage or the Brickell City Centre Garage.
